Clinically Supervised by Dr. Courtney Walraven LCSW-S

*Accepting new clients*

Hello, my name is Romina Lovizo, and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker. I have lived in Lubbock most of my life, but I was born in Ecuador, which has shaped how I understand identity, resilience, and how individuals experience the world.

My approach is collaborative and grounded in empathy, I make space for your story, and try to understand your unique experience. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, frozen, or trying to understand things around you, I offer space where you can speak honestly without judgement.

I have experience working with individuals with disabilities, as well as preteens, teens, young adults, and older adults. These experiences have taught me the importance of meeting people exactly where they are, whether they are navigating early life transitions, building independence, or adjusting to later stages of life. I believe there is no single approach to healing and growth, and I tailor my work to fit each individual’s needs.

My role is to support you in making sense of challenges, strengthening coping skills, and building confidence in your ability to move forward using evidence-based practices.

Training: CBT, DBT, ACT

Standard Rate: $125/intake session; $100/hour
