EMDR Consultation

I am certified in EMDR through EMDRIA and am an EMDR Consultant in Training (CIT). I offer consultation for clinicians who have basic training in EMDR.

About Dr. Courtney Walraven

​

I am a licensed clinical social worker and supervisor in the State of Texas. I have experience in several areas including medical social work, case management, dialysis, psychiatric assessor in emergency rooms, and mental health within the VA Clinic. My diverse clinical experience contributes to my understanding of the complexities and comorbidities of mental health.​

​

I truly enjoy learning, and I think continued education is important for clinicians. I am passionate about passing on my learned experience to others who are interested in developing their skills and knowledge. I have a doctoral degree in counseling and specialization in trauma. My advanced training in EMDR, the flash technique, CBT, and DBT allow me to assist developing clinicians in seeking understanding in treatment approaches and techniques for clients with challenging symptom presentations and complexities. I enjoy working with children, teens, and adults.
