Everyone has challenges in life, and reaching out when you need help is a sign of strength, not weakness. My passion in counseling is to help empower you to overcome obstacles in life, process through trauma, and learn to move forward with your goals without the restraint of past hurt or fear. I have experience in crisis intervention and outpatient therapy. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and aging populations. I believe counseling is a great way to invest in yourself and improve your future. ​I provide a safe and welcoming environment to discuss difficulties of the past, present and future.  I have an Ed.D. in Counseling with a specialization in trauma from Liberty University. I am a licensed clinical social worker and supervisor (LCSW-S) in Texas. I am trained in the flash technique, CBT, DBT, SPACE, and certified in EMDR. These interventions can be helpful in processing past traumas and overcoming the new or difficult challenges in life that leave you feeling stuck or repeating past cycles.
